Utility Rates

Click on "Utility Fees 2018" below to see the current charges for all city utilities. City Council sets electric and sewer rates by ordinance, and water rates are set by the Safety-Service Director.

Beginning in January 2018, electric rates were raised slightly. We are providing our customers a way to see how the approved electric rates will effect their total monthly utility bill by clicking on "Electric Rate Comparison." An Excel spreadsheet will open
and you may click on the "Enable Editing" button to enter your monthly electric and water usage. The worksheet will show you your bill compared to two other electric providers. Note: You do not need to enter your sewer usage as sewer charges are based on your water consumption.

If you have any questions or need assistance in calculating your bill, please call the Utility Office.  We are willing to assist you in understanding how the new rates will effect your overall utility bill.
