UPDATE (3:34 p.m.): CSX will begin repair work Wednesday, Aug. 30. The South Market and Church crossings will close tomorrow and Knorr will likely close at a later date.

CSX will be closing three crossings in Galion for repair work next week. The crossings are located at:

• Church Street (the alleys that flank the overpass)
• Knorr Road (at the Buehler Street junction)
• South Market Street (near the Moose Lodge)

Exact dates of the closures are dependent upon the crew’s schedule. CSX is estimating one week of work.

No vehicular traffic will be permitted through these crossings while repairs are made. The safety forces are aware of the closings and will determine alternate routes.
