In an effort to help with cleanup from last night’s storm, the Taylor Road composting facility will be open today until 2:30 p.m., and tomorrow (Sept. 6) from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to bring tree limbs, leaves, and other yard waste. Materials will be accepted free of charge to City of Galion and Polk Township residents. The facility is located at 545 Taylor Road in Galion.

The next regularly scheduled weekend the facility will be open is Sept. 15 and 16, from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
