Efficiency Smart is offering an increased rebate for recycling old refrigerators and freezers. Galion electric customers can receive up to $60 for an appliance through Aug. 31. 

Restrictions:

• Appliance must be in working condition and between 10 to 30 cubic feet in size.
• Maximum of three units per household.
• Must be picked up at the address listed on the customer bill.

After Aug. 31, the rebate will continue at the normal rate of $50 per appliance. This rebate program is made possible through a partnership between Efficiency Smart and the City of Galion.
