The speed limit is being reduced in a portion of State Route 598. From Timberlane Drive to the northern city limits, the speed will change from 50 to 45 miles per hour.

Signs indicating the new speed will be installed today. ODOT conducted a speed study earlier this year and recommended the reduction based on increased traffic and new businesses in this area.
