On Monday, May 11, the Galion Utility Office will reopen to the public. Until then, we are asking customers to continue contacting staff by phone at 419-468-6611, or by email at GalionUtilities@galion.city.
When the office does reopen, staff will follow the reopening guidelines issued by the state, including wearing face coverings. We encourage customers to wear face coverings as well. Customers will be required to ensure a minimum 6 feet of space between themselves and others. Also, please follow any other signage posted in the lobby. We are also requesting that Wednesdays between 8 and 9 be reserved for customers over the age of 60 or those who have health issues.
If you have experienced job loss due to the COVID-19 emergency, Crawford County Job & Family Services has resources available through its expanded PRC program. Please call 419-562-8066 to inquire about PRC or the Household Stability Program, which can help with monthly household expenses.
The City will continue to monitor all guidelines issued by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health, and make changes to our practices as necessary.
