Galion’s community Trick-or-Treat will be Saturday, Oct. 31 from 2-4 p.m. In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Galion City Health Department has released helpful guidelines for residents (link is below).
The main point of caution is to STAY HOME if you feel sick. Treat givers should avoid passing out candy if they feel sick.
When taking your child Trick-or-Treating, avoid going in groups that contain people from multiple households. Stay six feet away from people who are not from your household. Allow children to eat only factory-wrapped treats and avoid homemade treats.
Please remember to also wear a face covering and sanitize your hands regularly.
Your neighborhood may consider alternative options to traditional door-to-door activities, or creative ways to disperse candy.
