How is this project being paid for?

The total estimated cost is $4.5 million. It will be paid for as follows:

  • Federal Highway Safety Funds - $1.1 million (24%)
  • ODOT Small Cities Program - $1.45 million (32%)
  • City of Galion share - $1.95 million (44%). License plate tax revenues, state and local gas tax revenues, and the issuance of notes will be used.
